    Description

    This is an original antique steel railroad crossing crossbuck sign with
    the original blue-lavender hued glass "cat eye" reflector marbles
    and only remnants of the original weathered paint.
    Four of the marbles are missing from the "C", but it sounds like at least one, or possibly all, are rattling around inside. Much of the sign is covered in surface rust and the entire piece has a weathered, aged patina. There is a slight bend next to the "O" in "Crossing" and a couple small cracks on the edges because of the bend, but the entire piece is sturdy and solid with no other obvious damage.
    The sign will not be disassembled; local pickup is preferred but shipping is possible. Each crossbuck section measures 71 1/2" L x 9 1/4" W, and outer dimensions of sign are 68" L x 38 1/2" H. The total weight is about 75 pounds. Located in Hortonville, Wisconsin, 10 miles west of Appleton. Shipping is available within the lower 48 states only and no international.
