    Description

This is a 9-1/4" round bronze builder's plate from Santa Fe (AT&SF)  2-8-2  #3202.  This locomotive was one of many in the 3160 class of 2-8-2's.  This locomotive served the Santa Fe well for many years and was sold and scrapped on 3-3-1956 at Hyman-Michaels Co.  The plate has the Baldwin code stamped on the back.  This plate is from the Warren Scholl collection.  The mate to this plate is currently listed on ebay and someone could have the opportunity to have both plates.
Please contact me with any questions on this plate or any other plate.  I have been collecting plates since 1963 and have been building collections for others since 1968.
