GE Diesel Electric Locomotive Builders Plate. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Up for auction is a GE Diesel Locomotives Builders Plate made of stainless steel that roughly measures 14 1/2” L x 10 1/2” W x .088 thickness and weighs roughly 3 lbs. 13 oz.
This plate has serial # 46256 with a build date of May 1990 and is a Dash 8 - 40CW locomotive built for Conrail # 6060 a 4000 hp diesel of which 756 were built by GE.
Front and back of plate has nicks, scratches, discoloring and oxidation from use.  GE used an adhesive on the back side of plate that was removed at some point as the picture points it out.  Plate is slightly warped.
The data area on the front of the plate has all the numbers stamped/etched in but is hard to see in photograph due to light stamping/etching and road wear/discoloring but is visible to the naked eye.
