This BRAND NEW buying guide from Cigar Aficionado still stands the test of time today! As a cigar expert myself, I can tell you that there’s very little deviation from 21 years ago compared to now with ultimate Cuban cigars. They are the Michael Jordan standard of quality. And consistency through their decades of production is one of their hallmarks. This remarkable book is SO fun to read through, even though it’s vintage. When you compare the ratings to today’s ratings, it’s crazy how almost nothing has changed. That’s a testament to Cubano quality!
INTERESTING UNIMPORTANT SIDE NOTE…LOL:
I used to go to Hong Kong on business all the time, and Grand Cayman all the time on vacay. I would bring a ton of Cubans home (cigars, not people. I’m not Kramer). There’s just nothing like tobacco grown in the
Vuelta Abajo, part of the Pinar del Rio area located in western Cuba.
They try to compete in the Dominican Republic, Honduras and other countries…but no one can do it. It was fun to bring these cigars through Customs. They didn’t care. As long as you took the labels off and declared them as Dominican, it was fine. All they cared about was NOT getting in trouble for allowing cigars that still had the Cuban labels on from passing through Customs. They simply didn’t wanna get fired. Other than that, they could care less.
Guys…what a GREAT collectible and keepsake! If you’re a cigar Dude like I am, it’s REALLY cool to have this vintage guide around!
