ACOUSTIC RESEARCH AR-3a NEW GRILLES, CLOTH & LOGOS

VINTAGE-AR is now offering new replacement grilles, patterned from an original AR-3a grille, complete with replacement grille cloth just like one of the original cloths utilized on the AR-3a along with new logo plates.
This is for a pair.
Without impacting the acoustics, we strengthened the frames.
The grille cloth is an off white linen material with the little "slubs" (heavy pieces of thread) running up and down the grille. The thread count is identical to an early AR cloth.
These replacement logo plates are now being manufactured for VINTAGE-AR. The plates are the correct size and the font is exact to the AR original. The material is a brass alloy overlaid on a burgundy plastic and laser engraved. The brass alloy will prevent the inevitable tarnishing that occurred with the originals. We have used an adhesive backing rather than the screws that often broke over the years.
The approximate dimensions are 11 7/16 x 22 1/2 inches.
